Biography


Kevin

Kevin originally attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for two years in the Theatre Department's sound design BFA program. While there, he served as the assistant sound designer on The Illusion and Dance at Illinois' 2012 February Dance and Studio Dance II. He was also the designer and engineer for Reefer Madness, a student run musical at the Armory Free Theatre. Additionally, Kevin served as an events audio engineer at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts where he worked on the Ellnora Guitar Festival among other events.

After transferring to the Theatre School at DePaul University for the 2012-2013 school year, Kevin designed various shows including Contractions, Hansel and Gretel, and 35MM, a student run musical held in the Theatre School's lobby. He also assisted on several shows including Machinal, Moth, Jackie and Me, and Elemeno Pea and was the sound technician for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Vigils. He culminated his study by sound designing The Duchess of Malfi on the Fullerton Stage.

From the summer of 2010 until 2014, Kevin worked at Six Flags Great America, first as a Rides Operator for two years and most recently as an Electronics, Games, & Sound Technician in the Maintenance Department. This coming summer, Kevin is excited to be moving to Florida where he will be working at Walt Disney World.
